This Father’s Day, honour the fathers, grandfathers, sons, mentors, and community leaders helping create safer futures for women, children, and communities.
The Moose Hide Campaign began with a father’s love for his daughters.
While hunting together along the Highway of Tears in northern British Columbia, Paul and his daughter, Raven, reflected on the violence facing women and girls, and about the responsibility men carry to help create change.
From that father-daughter hunting trip came a simple but powerful act: sharing small squares of moose hide to invite men and boys to stand up against violence towards women and children.
What began as a conversation between one dad and one daughter has grown into a national movement grounded in love, healing, accountability, and hope.
This Father’s Day, we honour the men who help shape our lives and communities through care, respect, kindness, and courage. The fathers, grandfathers, sons, uncles, mentors, teachers, coaches, and community leaders who are forging healthy paths for the future generations.
When you make a gift in honour of someone meaningful in your life, you help continue this work of healing and help create safer futures for women, children, families, and future generations.
“Fatherhood taught me that love is not just something we feel. It is something we show through how we protect, support, and care for future generations.” – Paul Lacerte
