What is the Moose hide Campaign?
The Moose Hide Campaign is an Indigenous-led grassroots movement that invites all Canadians to take a stand against gender-based violence by honouring, protecting, and supporting women, children, and all those along the gender continuum.
Rooted in ceremony, respect, and accountability, the Campaign centres the moose hide pin as a symbol of personal commitment and a catalyst for meaningful conversations.
Through initiatives like Moose Hide Campaign Day, workshops, and community gatherings, it brings people together across the country to reflect, learn, and take collective action toward building safer, more caring communities.
We would like to acknowledge the event is being held in the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, and the Wendat Peoples, and now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.
With the participation of the Government of Canada. Avec la participation du gouvernement du Canada.
